President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev presented a "Dostlug" (Friendship) order and "Taraggi" (Progress) medal to a group of public figures on the sidelines of the third World Azerbaijanis Congress for their contribution to strengthening friendship among peoples and developing Azerbaijani diaspora, Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
The Dostlug order went to Bashar Kemur, Ertan Demirtash, Josef Shagal, Mehmet Akkan SUver, Suat Gunesel, Vladimir Kolesnikov and Taraggi medal to Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
Chairman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia, General Coordinator of Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation Leyla Aliyeva received the prize for her contribution to organizational formation of Azerbaijan`s compatriots living abroad and raising the world community`s awareness about Azerbaijan`s realities.
