President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Afghan President Hamid Karzai over the killing of his brother, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
The Azerbaijani President said in the letter he was saddened upon hearing the news on the killing of Ahmed Wali Khan Karzai.
President Aliyev offered sincere condolences to the Afghan leader and his family members.
