The Azerbaijani Parliament will consider a bill on ex-presidents during the year.
Now work is conducted on the bill, the head of the Parliament's apparatus Safa Mirzayev said to a news conference on the results of the spring session of the Parliament.
"Discussions over the bill are scheduled for the autumn session of the Parliament in 2011 or the spring session in 2012," said Mirzayev.
With regard to the draft law on political parties, Mirzayev said it has been submitted to the Venice Commission. In September, joint discussions over the bill are expected to be conducted by Azerbaijani Parliament and the Venice Commission, after which it will be submitted to the President of Azerbaijan, said Mirzayev.
