The Georgian Prosecutor's Office has no inculpatory evidence against Badri Bitsadze, Bitsadze's spouse, ex-speaker of the Georgian parliament Nino Burjanadze said after a court hearing in the Tbilisi City Court today.
Burjanadze said that the prosecution did not ask her any questions within two hours.
"The judge found himself in an awkward position, as the prosecution had nothing that would prove the guilt of my husband," she said.
The hearings are held daily, except weekends.
Badri Bitsadze is accused of preparing the armed resistance and organizing mass riots and attacks on police officers.
