Turkey does not attach importance to reports published by WikiLeaks on the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, Turkish Ambassador to Baku Huluci Kilic told journalists on Tuesday.
"Everyone is aware of the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and we do not attach importance to such publications," he stated.
Baku commented on reports published by WikiLeaks on Monday.
As Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov said in an interview with Trend on Monday, the recent WikiLeaks reports concerning Azerbaijan are lie and slander
"Referring to the U.S. diplomats, WikiLeaks is spreading groundless information aimed at creating tensions in relations between different states in the region," he said. "We have repeatedly refuted such reports. In particular, there have been reports directed at deteriorating relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, targeting to provide false information about the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkey, the Azerbaijani-Russian and Azerbaijani-Iranian relations and directed to spoiling the relations," Hasanov underlined.
