President of Hungary Pal Schmitt will make a visit to Azerbaijan in first half of November, a diplomatic source told Trend.
This is Hungarian President's first visit to Azerbaijan.
A wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation are supposed to be discussed during Hungarian President's visit to Azerbaijan.
In addition to the governmental delegation, during the visit, President Schmitt will be accompanied by a delegation of representatives of business circles in Hungary.The second meeting of Azerbaijani-Hungarian inter-governmental commission on trade and economic cooperation is planned to be conducted in Baku.
The first meeting of Azerbaijani-Hungarian inter-governmental commission on trade and economic cooperation was held on Feb. 23, 2010 in Budapest. The meeting discussed the current state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, and prospects for cooperation, particularly in ensuring security of supply, in the petrochemical industry, agriculture, tourism and construction sector.
