Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany with regard to the interests of both
the parties develop in all spheres, said the Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov, at the event dedicated to the Day of German unity.
According to him, bilateral political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries are at a high level.
The Bundestag and the German government has always maintained a position of supporting the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The minister also said turnover of two billion euros between countries as an indicator of effective economic cooperation.
German ambassador to Azerbaijan at the event, Herbert Quelle noted that 21st anniversary of German unification coincides with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence. He expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will develop further.
