President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday inaugurated a pedestrian underpass in Buzovna settlement of Khazar region. The new underpass is located on a 12th km section of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport -Zugulba highway. The underpass is 44.14 meters in length, 6 meters in width and 3 meters in height.
After familiarizing himself with the technical specifications of the overpass, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done here.
On the same day President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated a new pedestrian underpass located on the 11th km section of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport -Zugulba highway. The President was informed that the underpass is 48.1 meters in length, 6 meters in width and 3 meters in height.
Both underpasses will help reduce traffic and ensure the safety of pedestrians.
President Ilham Aliyev also inaugurated three-level interchange on Mardakan highway in Khazar region of Baku.
The Head of State was informed about the main technical parameters of the road junction with a bridge of 220 m length and 23,5 m width. The junction includes a 400-meters long tunnel which has been built during 15 months.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing opening of the interchange which connects the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Mardakan, Shuvelan and Buzovna settlements. The junction will provide access from many directions.
President of Azerbaijan expressed consent with the works done here and gave certain instructions.
