Creating favourable conditions for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is very important, the head of the European Union delegation in Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said on Thursday presenting the views of the Expert Council on NGO Law of Conference of international non-profit organizations and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe in connection with the draft amendments to the Law of Azerbaijan "On NGOs", adopted in 2009.
"For us NGOs is part of society and its partner. I believe that any government is interested in a dialogue with civil society," said Kobia.

"We support the dialogue on this subject and want to witness the development of this sector. Dialogue with civil society is part of EU policy," said Kobia.
