Relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine have acquired a special strategic status, speaker of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) Vladimir Litvin, on an official visit to Baku, said today.
He added that Azerbaijan has a special place not only in the region and but in the world.
"Practical solutions to all problems lie in the cooperation between our governments," he said. "The parliaments of both countries are willing to ensure legislative support. If necessary, we will push the government to realise the agreement." He added there are broad opportunities for practical work in many areas.
"We are committed to the development of our relations in all spheres at a qualitatively new and practical level," he said. "Today we have fixed this desire and willingness to cooperate during the meetings of the Azerbaijani parliament."
