A foreign polling station was opened at the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan in connection with the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
The polling station was set up in accordance with the Ukrainian Central Election Commission's resolution No.67 'On the establishment of foreign polling stations on a regular basis' dated April 12, 2012, the diplomatic mission's website reported.
Elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, according to the current legislation, will be held in 2011. It is expected that the voting will be scheduled for October. Elections will be held based on the Law of Ukraine 'On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine', dated Nov.17, 2011.
