Sudan has supported Azerbaijan in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti said in Baku at the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.
Sudanese Foreign Minister congratulated Azerbaijan on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, press service of the Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
The Sudanese minister expressed satisfaction with bilateral relations and noted the need for their development.
The ministers discussed developments in the region, issues of bilateral cooperation and its perspectives at the meeting.
