The delegation led by Minister for Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov is in Qatar on an official visit.
The main purpose of the visit - the further development of cooperation in the field of emergency management between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Qatar, the official website of Ministry for Emergencies said on Tuesday.
Meetings with the Crown Prince of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Minister of State for Internal Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani were held in the frame of the visit.
They discussed issues of mutual interest on the prospects of sharing the experience gained by both states on emergency preparedness.
During the visit, a detailed familiarity with activities of the structure of civil defense of Qatar and other relevant agencies is planned.
