Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov will hold political consultations in Austria and Slovakia on June 3-7, Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev told reporters on Saturday.
He said that during the visit Khalafov is expected to meet with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic Peter Burian and Slovak deputies.
In the Austrian capital, Vienna, Khalafov will meet on June 5 with members of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Johannes Kyrle. He is also expected to hold meetings in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Austria.
"At the meetings in Slovakia the sides will discuss issues of bilateral political and parliamentary relations, the organization of high-level visits, settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Abdullayev said.
Similar issues, as well as strengthening of the legal framework between the two countries and processes in the Middle East will be discussed in Austria.
