Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received newly appointed chargé d'affaires ad interim of Argentina in Azerbaijan Jorge Roballo, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend on Monday.
Roballo presented Argentine Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman's letter to Mammadyarov and said he is pleased with this appointment.
Roballo stressed that he will realize opening of newly founded Argentine Embassy in Azerbaijan.
He said there is a great potential for cooperation between the two countries in various spheres and stressed that he will work to boost the relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina.
Mammadyarov congratulated the Argentine diplomat on his appointment to Azerbaijan and wished him success in his further activity.
