Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today opened a newly reconstructed Heydar Aliyev Center in Lankaran region.
The Head of State was informed that before the reconstruction a total area of the Center was 300 square meters, now it constitutes 3000 square meters.
A bust to the national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected in the Center, which is located in the Heydar Aliyev Park. The Center has the photostands featuring childhood, youth and students` years and service in the state security bodies of national leader Heydar Aliyev as well as visits of President Ilham Aliyev to Lankaran.
The Center also includes 3D cinema club, e-library, Internet café, language laboratory, photo studio, exhibition hall, chess, intellectual games and virtual rooms.
The research group created here collected photos, newspapers and documents on a visit of national leader Heydar Aliyev to Lankaran during 1973-1998s.
The 300-seat and 80-seat conference halls were also opened in the Center.
President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with conditions created in the Heydar Aliyev Center and met with residents of the region.
On behalf of the residents, Director of Gymnasium with Foreign Languages Bias Mansur Agayev thanked the Head of State for attention and care.
