The trial over Azerbaijani poets Farid Huseyn and Shahriyar Hajizade, detained in Iran will end within three weeks. Information about the judgement will be disseminated, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev said today.
He said that representatives of the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Iran met with the judge considering the case of Farid Huseyn and Shahriyar Hajizade yesterday.
The judge said that a formal accusation has not been put forward toward to the Azerbaijani citizens yet.
Farid Huseyn and Shahriyar Hajizade went to the poetry festival in Iran and were arrested there on May 2.
