Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 4 / Trend M. Aliyev /

Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan party Bahar Muradova thinks that the ruling party's preparation in connection with the presidential elections scheduled for 2013 will bring a positive result again.

Political power in Azerbaijan has never stopped during election preparations, Bahar Muradova told Trend on Monday.

"Azerbaijan has started preparing for the elections," she said. "That is, it started for some individuals, but for others it is a constant process. Those who want to stay in power and in general political power and for the candidate who want to come to power. We must be focused and constantly work to win the confidence of the electorate, its preservation and development. The ruling party acts this way and because of this, I believe that it will once again bring a positive result."

She added that the preparation for the elections is an issue of opportunity for any political party.

"Not agreeing with each other, the opposition nominates its party or a candidate to the fore," Muradova said.

She added that everyone conducts preparation in accordance with their social base and political capital.

The next presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan in late 2013.
