President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today opened a military hospital of the Ministry of National Security.
Minister of National Security, lieutenant-general Eldar Mahmudov presented a report to President Ilham Aliyev.
The Head of State unveiled a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the yard of the hospital. The President also laid flowers at the monument.
Afterwards the President cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the military hospital, and toured it.
Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to development of healthcare in the country were installed in the foyer of the building.
Minister of National Security Eldar Mahmudov informed the Head of State about the military hospital.
The 150-bed hospital has a polyclinic, a clinical laboratory, an operating room, reanimation, intensive therapy, angiography, radiology and endoscopy departments, a helicopter square, a parking, a 120-seat conference hall and a greenery strip.
The Azerbaijani leader was informed that the building of the facility covers a total area of 34,500 square meters.
President Ilham Aliyev also met staff of the National Security Ministry and the military hospital.
Minister of National Security Eldar Mahmudov thanked the Head of State for his care and attention.
