The son of former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani has been released after three months of imprisonment, the Fars agency said on Monday.
Mehdi Hashemi Rafsanjani was released from Evin prison on bail.
The son of the Iranian ex-president was arrested upon his arrival in Tehran from the UK, where he lived for three years. Hashemi was arrested on charges of propaganda against the state and corruption. Like his father and sister, Hashemi is a fierce critic of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
