An official reception on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution was organized by the Embassy of the country in Baku.
The event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, MPs, scientists and representatives of Iranian diaspora in Azerbaijan.
At the reception, the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayin highlighted the country's achievements during 34 years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Speaking at the event, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov congratulated the President of Iran and the Iranian people with the 34th anniversary of the Islamic revolution on behalf of the President and the people of the country. He noted the high level of economic, trade and cultural ties, as well as inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
"Azerbaijan-Iran relations will continue on the basis of good-neighborliness and mutual respect," Safarov said.
