Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is ready at any time to get involved in the negotiations on constitutional amendments, which are underway between the parliamentary majority and minority on the initiative of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

Three rounds of the negotiations between Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili and Minority Leader David Bakradze have been already held. Both of them note that although it is a long process, they are confident that an agreed decision will be made.

"Negotiations are underway at present, and as soon as there will be the need for my participation, I am ready to get involved in them," Ivanishvili told reporters in Ankara.

He called President Saakashvili's proposal "good", who, according to him, offered not to confine just limiting the president's right to dissolve the government and parliament, but fully introduce the restrictions that come into force under new Constitution from Oct. 1, 2013 following the election of the country's new president.
