Cooperation with Lithuania, which will be a country - EU presidency in a few months is very important for Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze said.
At a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevicius, Panjikidze thanked the Lithuanian side for the support that it provides to Georgia.
According Panzhikidze, Georgia's integration into the EU and NATO and a wide range of bilateral issues were discussed at the meeting.
"I want to thank Lithuania for helping us. I hope this assistance will continue in the future. After few months Lithuania become a country - EU presidency and in November scheduled Vilnius summit, which is very important for us. Before this we plan to complete the text of the association agreement, which would be a step forward for European integration of Georgia ", - Panjikidze said.
