The newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan has presented copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Amangeldy Zhumabayev on Tuesday, according to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The Minister congratulated Amangeldy Zhumabaev on his appointment and wished him success in future endeavors.
The Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the appointment and said that Kazakhstan is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of important issues, such as energy and transport.
