The EL movement's accusations towards the authorities are elements of an outdated practice, Ana Vatan party chairman Fazail Agamali said today.

"This testifies to an outdated practice," Ana Vatan party chairman, MP Fazail Agamali told Trend today. "In general, the appearance of the EL movement has not created any serious or significant problems for the Azerbaijani authorities."
Azerbaijan is a democratic country," he said. "People can create associations, gather, share their views and participate in the political process as fixed in the Constitution."

He added that there were no problems with the creation and presentation of the EL movement.

"The EL movement is trying to attract public attention creating an image as the victim, threatened for demonstrating a strong position against the authorities," he said.

While expressing his views towards the accusations that the EL movement were left without an office, Agamali found them unfounded.

"The authorities have no interest in taking its office or exerting any pressure," he said. "Therefore, the information obtained by the media is not justified. All these are the elements of well-thought out practice."
