The entire responsibility for the attacks in Turkey lies with the government of the country and personally to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Syrian Information Minister Omran Al-Zoubi told RT TV channel in Arabic, Rusiya al-Yaum on Monday.
"The responsibility for what happened lies with the government of Turkey and Erdogan personally. He has no right to build his political career on the blood of Turkish and Syrian people," Al-Zoubi said.
Two car bombs exploded on Saturday in Turkey at an interval of 15 minutes in front of the city hall in an industrial area. As a result of bombings 46 people killed and 155 injured. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey, the explosions in Reyhanlı damaged 11 public buildings, 293 residential apartments, 450 private company offices and 62 cars.
The minister said that a few days ago whilst commenting on the Israeli attack on Syria, that Israel carried out air strikes on Syrian military targets in the area of Damascus.
"This meant Israel violated the international treaty on the disengagement of troops signed by it. This allowed the terrorists to transport their wounded to be treated in Israeli hospitals through the Golan Heights and the demilitarised zone," Al-Zoubi said.
