A meeting was held in the organization of ruling New Azerbaijan Party in the Khatai district of Baku on Wednesday.
Heads of the party's district and city organizations, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the party Ali Ahmadov, deputy executive secretaries of the ruling party Siyavush Novruzov, Mubariz Gurbanly and others attended it.
The ruling party is thoroughly preparing for the upcoming presidential elections, Ahmadov said.
"The ruling party is operating in accordance with the plans in connection with the upcoming presidential elections, scheduled for October," he added. "The ruling party has an extensive network of regional organizations. Our actions are realized through these organizations. The certain instructions in connection with the preparation for the elections will be given at today's meeting. The views on the implementation of instructions will be exchanged. The necessary recommendations will be given. Our tradition is the thorough preparation for the elections. It is necessary to ensure the active participation of all agencies, activists and members of the ruling party in preparation for the elections. There is a wide program to ensure around 600,000 active party members' readiness for the election campaign. We believe that all party members will have a positive impact on active participation in campaigns and elections and voter turnout in Azerbaijan. We hold frequent meetings, events and exchange the views."
