Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Zlatko Lagumdzija told journalists after talks with Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov today.
He added there are good opportunities for developing cooperation in the energy and economic sectors and in particular, in the fields of tourism, telecommunications and infrastructure.
Political relations between the two countries are at a very good level. Bosnia and Herzegovina supports Azerbaijan in terms of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, standing for its peaceful settlement, Lagumdzija said.
The minister also urged the Azerbaijani investors to participate in economic projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov appreciated the level of bilateral relations, stressing great prospects for their development. The Azerbaijani Minister thanked the Bosnia and Herzegovina's leadership for a fair position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and adopting a resolution on Khojaly genocide by the parliament of that country.
