Azerbaijan, Baku, July 8 / Trend A. Taghiyeva /

If the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Egypt does not stop the provocative actions, it can be banned as during ex-President Hosni Mubarak's period, head of the Egyptian Center for Strategic and Political Studies Al-Ahram Yusri Ezbawi told Trend on Monday.

"If the Muslim Brotherhood gives up provocations, they can be represented in the new government and the parliament of Egypt," he said. "Otherwise, the Muslim Brotherhood can be declared outside the law."

According to the expert, the current situation in Egypt is the result of the political faults of Morsi's regime and today we can see that the Muslim Brotherhood's faults continue.

The military regime proposed "Brothers" to participate in the new government, but they have chosen the way of violence, the expert said.

"A staff of the new government is expected to be announced in Egypt in the near future," he said. "I believe that the situation will gradually stabilize under the guidance of the army in the country."

Last Wednesday, the Egyptian military suspended the Constitution, ousted the President Mohamed Morsi, who was facing unprecedented protests, and promised to hold early elections for a new president. Egyptian Islamists do not recognize the changes and demand that Morsi be allowed to return to power.
