The observation mission of the Bulgarian parliament witnessed the genuine democracy during the Azerbaijani presidential election, representative of the Bulgarian parliament's observation mission, MP Hamid Hamid said on Thursday in Baku at the press-conference on the results of the presidential election.
"The Azerbaijani nation has achieved a good level of democracy in a short time," the Bulgarian MP said.
Azerbaijani presidential election was held on October 9. According to the results announced by Azerbaijani CEC after processing of ballots from 99.53 percent of polling stations, President Ilham Aliyev gathered 3,118,287 votes (84.59 percent).
