Trend: Following the award giving ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Turkish leader Abdullah Gul had a meeting in Ankara.
They hailed bilateral friendly and fraternal relations, saying they are based on strategic cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, energy and other spheres.
They said the official visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Turkey would further contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations, and expressed confidence Azerbaijani-Turkish ties would further develop.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Abdullah Gul of Turkey have held a joint press conference following their bilateral meeting in Ankara.
