Azerbaijani President meets Ukrainian Prime Minister (PHOTO)
Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 18
Trend: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at his temporary state residence in Kyiv.
They praised the bilateral cooperation, saying it is rapidly developing in a variety of fields, especially in economic one.
They noted the importance of joint projects in terms of expanding trade between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, saying there were good prospects in this field.
They also stressed great potential for ensuring access of Azerbaijani products, particularly agricultural products to the Ukrainian market, and said there were good prospects for the cooperation in grain production, cattle-breeding and other fields.
The Head of State and the Ukrainian Premier emphasized excellent prospects in the construction sector, praising development of cooperation in the fields of industry and infrastructure.
They also hailed good opportunities for cooperation in energy field, as well as successful activity of SOCAR in Ukraine.
They underlined the possibility of exploring prospects for Azerbaijan`s making investment in Ukraine.
President Ilham Aliyev and Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov praised humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
