Iranian parliamentary delegation visits Turkey

Iranian parliamentary delegation headed by Moayyed Hosseini Sadr, the Iranian co-chairman of Iran-Turkey friendship group has started its visit to Turkey on Nov. 25, Fars news agency reported on Nov. 25.

The four-day visit takes place at the invitation of co-chairman of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group Othman Askin Bak.

The Iranian members of parliament will hold talks with Turkish officials on bilateral relations during the visit.

Iranian MPs are due to hold consultations with Turkish Speaker of Parliament Jamil Chichak and some of the heads of the parliamentary commissions and the Turkish cabinet of ministers.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Tehran on November 26 to attend a ministerial meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

During his visit, the Turkish foreign minister will also meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif to hold talks on bilateral relations, as well as regional developments, particularly the Syrian crisis.
