A memorial book will be put in the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan on November 27 to honour the memory of those killed during a terrorist attack in front of the Iranian embassy in Beirut, head of the press service of Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan, Mohammad Ayatollahi said on Nov. 26.

According to Ayatollahi, the memorial book will be put in the embassy building at V.Sardarov Street 4, (Sabail district) from 10:00 to 17:00.

Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohsen Pak Ayeen and heads of the diplomatic corps functioning in Azerbaijan, as well as Azerbaijani government officials, journalists and residents will leave their notes in the memorial book.

It should be recalled that 23 people were killed and over 150 wounded as a result of a double suicide bombing that took place on November 19 near the Iranian embassy in Beirut. Among the dead were the embassy's cultural attaché Ibrahim Ansari and wife of one of the Iranian diplomats.
