Iranian president to visit Turkey next year

Iranian president Hassan Rouhani will visit Turkey in January 2014, Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu said on Nov. 27 in Tehran during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Fars news agency reported.
Davutoglu said that after Rouhani's visit, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Iran. Davutoglu did not comment on the time of Turkish PM's visit to Iran.
Ahmet Davutoglu had several meetings with Iranian officials during the 21st Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in Tehran. According to the Iranian media outlets, Turkey and Iran have already achieved an agreement on settlement of the Syrian issue as a result of the talks held during these meetings.
