Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held a one-on-one meeting in Baku on Nov.12.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.
The two presidents also expressed confidence that this visit of Rouhani to Azerbaijan will contribute to the further strengthening of bilateral relations and expanding of economic cooperation.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Following the one-on-one meeting, the ceremony of signing of documents between Azerbaijan and Iran was held.
After the signing ceremony, Aliyev and Rouhani made a joint statement for the press.
