The Turkmen State News Agency TDH and the Azerbaijani Trend International News Agency signed an agreement on exchange of information on Feb.28.
The document was signed in Baku by the chairman of TDH Bekdurdy Amansariyev and CEO of Trend Ilgar Huseynov.
The parties will maintain regular exchange of operational information, analytical materials, as well as photographs of the political, economic, social, cultural and humanitarian life in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, according to the document.
The parties also intend to cooperate closely in providing informational support for visits of heads of states and official delegations, as well as other interstate events and activities held in the two countries.
Turkmendowlethabarlary (TDH) is the central state information agency of Turkmenistan, the only one in the country. It disseminates information on developments in the socio-political, socio-economic, cultural and sporting life of the state in Turkmen, Russian and English.
Specialists of the agency are engaged in the development, technical and information maintenance, as well as promotion of websites linked to the socio-political, economic and cultural life of Turkmenistan.
