Ukraine's position on Karabakh conflict remains unchanged, President says

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the press service of Poroshenko said Nov.13.
"I am confident that there are good preconditions for successful enhancement of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations: our states have enough potential and respective political will for this," Petro Poroshenko said.
Petro Poroshenko assured Ilham Aliyev of immutability of Ukraine's position regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Ukraine respects territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within the internationally recognized borders.
Particularly, the parties agreed to accelerate holding of regular session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Commission on Economic Cooperation and initiate preparation to the negotiations at the level of the Heads of State within the Council of the Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
