Turkey’s newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral presented new Turkish military attache to Azerbaijan, Brigadier General Zafer Ocak to Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, the press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told Trend Nov. 1.
Hasanov congratulated Ozoral on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan and wished success in the sphere of expanding the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The Turkish diplomat, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the beginning of his activity in Azerbaijan, and said that he will spare no efforts for the further development of the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, particularly, in the military sphere.
Hasanov also congratulated Turkey’s new military attaché in Azerbaijan Zafer Ocak on the beginning of his activity in the country and wished him success in the work on the expansion of relations between the two countries’ armed forces.
Military and political situation in the region and other issues were discussed, and the importance of settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was noted during the meeting.
