Czech Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Mladek will attend the Azerbaijan-Czech Republic intergovernmental commission’s next meeting to be held in early February 2017 in Baku, Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vitezslav Pivonka told Trend.
The diplomat said the Vice-Speaker of the Czech Republic’s Parliament Vojtech Filip will also visit Baku to take part in the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly.
The visit will take place from Dec. 14 to Dec. 16, noted Pivonka.
“We have prepared a memorandum of cooperation between the energy ministries of Azerbaijan and Czech Republic, and the final text is ready,” he added.
The agreement is expected to be signed by the two countries energy ministers in early 2017, said the ambassador.
He also noted that there is a strategic cooperation between the two countries.
