BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. The Western Azerbaijan Community has called on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to refrain from false propaganda, slander and manipulation against Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The Western Azerbaijan Community, in connection with Nikol Pashinyan's statements of August 11, 2023, said that Armenia opposes peace in the region, which for 30 years has kept Azerbaijani territories under occupation, and carried out ethnic cleansing and genocide against Azerbaijanis.
"Unfortunately, the "democrat" Nikol Pashinyan continued this policy of his predecessors and completely destroyed the negotiation process with his "Karabakh is Armenia" statement. We also want to remind Nikol Pashinyan that the person appointed by him as the head of the National Security Service, who later went to fight against Azerbaijan during the second Karabakh war, and soon shamefully escaped from Karabakh, made a statement "we will not return an inch of land to Azerbaijan". In addition, the former defense minister, who considered himself a "brilliant strategist", threatened Azerbaijan with a new war for new territories,” said the statement.
“The fact that Armenia, which for 30 years ignored the resolutions of the UN Security Council, and was even proud of the occupation of foreign territories, now hopes for support from Luis Ocampo - a man with a dark past, is a clear example of the sad situation of Yerevan. We call on the prime minister of Armenia to refrain from false propaganda on the topic of "genocide", slander and manipulation against Azerbaijan,” said the community.
“The Western Azerbaijan Community believes that if the Armenian prime minister is really interested in peace, then first of all he should put an end to such utopian and provocative ideas as the "Baku-Khankendi negotiations within the framework of the international mechanism. "As a community, we perceive this as a continuation of Armenia's territorial claims against Azerbaijan, but in a different form," said the statement.
The Western Azerbaijan Community reminds the Armenian prime minister, who on one side calls Azerbaijan to "dialogue with the Armenian residents of Karabakh within the international mechanism", and does not respond to the Western Azerbaijan Community’s offer of dialogue on the other side, and even denies the right of return of Azerbaijanis, the “No population, no problem” approach is completely unacceptable and dangerous.
In addition, the Western Azerbaijan Community calls on Nikol Pashinyan not to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan, not to delay the process of peace negotiations with various fake excuses, and to start a dialogue with the community to discuss the issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis.
