BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. Investigations into Armenia's pollution of Azerbaijan's water resources continue, the Head of the Non-Criminal Prosecution Execution Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Musayev said, Trend reports.
He made the announcement at a scientific-practical conference on “Environmental Water Offenses Contributing to Climate Change” within the framework of the ECOLEAD project “Strengthening the Environment: Role of Educational and Law Enforcement Measures” held at the International School of Nakhchivan State University.
“To suppress the activities of enterprises carrying out illegal activities on the territory of Armenia, inquiries were addressed to international organizations, as well as environmental control bodies of foreign countries, water samples were taken, and the scale of pollution was determined. A legal assessment will be given to the materials collected,” Musayev added.
