BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. I do not doubt that the parliamentary election will be held at a high level, well organized, and within the framework of Azerbaijani legislation, political scientist, deputy director of the Institute for Political Studies of the Russian Federation Darya Grevtsova told the reporter of the “Election 2024” Independent Media Center, Trend reports.
She pointed out that the peculiarity of this extraordinary parliamentary election in Azerbaijan is that it will be the first parliamentary election after the Second Karabakh War and the homecoming of Karabakh.
“MPs from all districts will be represented in the parliament. This full representation will help the state harmonize with the parliament's vision of the country's development and highlight the necessary priorities in the ongoing policies. Various parties will be represented in the election, and local and international observers will assess the legitimacy and transparency of the election procedure,” Grevtsova emphasized.
