Türkiye is very pleased with the peaceful and safe end of the parliamentary poll held on the 33rd anniversary of the restoration of independence throughout fraternal Azerbaijan, including liberated Karabakh, Turkish Ambassador Cahit Bagci wrote on his X page, Trend reports.
“We hope that the election results and the new composition of the parliament will benefit the brotherly Azerbaijani people and state,” the ambassador added.
Voting in the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan has concluded at 19:00 (GMT +4).
The voter turnout in Azerbaijan's snap parliamentary election reached 37.27 percent.
A total of 2,196,771 voters had cast their ballots in the election.
