BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan will facilitate participation for those interested in reviewing appeals related to the recent extraordinary parliamentary elections held on September 1, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov announced during today’s CEC session, Trend reports.

The head of the CEC invited all interested parties to participate in reviewing complaints from three electoral districts, including observers, candidates, authorized representatives, and members of the media.

To recall, the snap parliamentary election was held in Azerbaijan on September 1.

A total of 112,749 local observers were registered, including over 65,000 representatives of political parties. There were 598 international observers from 51 organizations and 69 countries.

Among the 990 registered candidates, 305 represented 25 political parties, while 371 were party members but were not nominated by their parties. In total, 676 candidates were affiliated with political parties.
