BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus is at the level of strategic partnership, the Chief of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Pavel Muraveiko told Trend on the sidelines of the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX".
"We are striving to develop our ties and support each other in areas such as humanitarian demining, studying air defense forces and equipment, and training personnel for operations in modern military conflicts.
Today, we plan to meet with the Chief of the General Staff and the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan to discuss further areas of cooperation development.
This is the fifth anniversary exhibition. Many interesting military samples are displayed here, including those presented by the Azerbaijani side. I would like to point out that the exhibition is filled with significant models that have caught the attention of the Belarusian Armed Forces representatives. We'll study and review the available options," he added.

The 14th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Safety, and Rescue "Securex Caspian" is organized in parallel.
The first "ADEX" exhibition was organized in 2014. The list of exhibitors and the sectors it covers expands from year to year.
The exhibition has brought together many companies representing more than 50 countries and about 200 official delegations over 10 years of successful activity. Over the years, the exhibition has been visited by more than 30,000 guests.
