BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. Unmanned aerial vehicle ALPIN produced by Turkish company Titra is demonstrated for the first time at the 5th anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX-2024,” the representative of the company told Trend.
Meanwhile, it was noted that the ALPIN drone is a multifunctional platform based on modern technologies.
“This device has excellent technical characteristics that can be used in various missions. ALPIN drone has EO/IR cameras (electronic optical/infrared), it is also high visibility for night and day missions, SAR radar—a radar system for accurate imaging and target detection in all weather conditions; the drone can be equipped with various cargo transportation systems; there is a mechanical auxiliary system for lifting the cargo when transporting special equipment; and a cargo system for transporting enclosed cargo. These systems can carry a maximum payload of up to 200 kilograms,” the representatives of the company note.
Furthermore, it is noted that the UAV has a length of 6.27 meters and a height of 2.47 meters.
The airborne time is nine hours or more, and the fuel type is gasoline. This UAV is an ideal choice for military, humanitarian, and commercial missions as it has high performance and wide transportation capabilities.
On September 24-26, the Baku Expo Center is hosting the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX, the largest event dedicated to the defense industry in the region. The 14th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Safety, and Rescue "Securex Caspian" is organized in parallel.
The first ADEX exhibition was organized in 2014. The list of exhibitors and the sectors it covers expands from year to year.
The exhibition has brought together many companies representing more than 50 countries and about 200 official delegations over 10 years of successful activity. The exhibition has been visited by more than 30,000 guests over the years.
