BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 8. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan on November 8 - Victory Day, Trend reports.
The ministry shared this in a post on its official X page.
"We extend our sincerest congratulations to the people and government of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Victory Day," the publication reads.
To note, Shusha city, which has great spiritual significance for the Azerbaijani people, was liberated from Armenian occupation during the 44-day Second Karabakh War on November 8, 2020. The liberation of the city of Shusha was the culmination of the 44-day Karabakh War. According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 3, 2020, November 8 is annually celebrated as Victory Day in the country.
