BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. The presidency of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) passes to Bahrain, Rizvan Nabiyev, MP, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the APA, said at the 15th plenary session of the APA themed "The Role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening multilateral cooperation in Asia" today, Trend reports.
He noted that Belarus has been accepted as an observer.
"Bahrain will preside over the APA until 2026, and Iran - from 2027 through 2028," added Nabiyev.
