“There are 3 sections waiting for the delimitation in the Azerbaijani-Georgian border,” Khalaf Khalafov, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, told Trend.
Today experts of the two countries held delimitation in the major section of border area, the Deputy FM said, the sections to be delimitated are in the border with Dagestan Republic of the Russian Federation. Preparatory work for the delimitation is currently underway. A recent meeting of the experts did concrete work on study of relief and scale of the territory.
During the next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental commission on delimitation, scheduled for autumn of 2005 will process the issues, the diplomat underscored.
